Amber Kraus
Amber Kraus serves as the Executive Director of Under the Same Tree, bringing over a decade of nonprofit marketing experience and a deep passion for creating sustainable solutions to poverty. With a commitment to empowering families and addressing the root causes of poverty, she has dedicated her career to fostering long-term, meaningful change in underserved communities. Amber’s visionary leadership is rooted in her belief that every family deserves the opportunity to rise out of poverty and create a brighter future. Her approach prioritizes holistic, community-driven solutions that equip families with the resources, knowledge, and support needed to overcome challenges and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
Tom Angote
Tom Angote is the East Africa Program Director for Under the Same Tree, where he leads with a deep commitment to empowering families and fostering sustainable development. With extensive experience in community development and a passion for addressing the root causes of poverty, Tom plays a pivotal role in implementing programs that equip families with the tools and support needed to achieve economic independence. Based in Kenya, Tom combines local expertise with a holistic approach to ensure that the programs are culturally relevant and impactful. His leadership has been instrumental in building lasting partnerships, promoting entrepreneurship, and creating opportunities that uplift entire communities.
Harriet Namulondo
Harriet Namulondo serves as the Uganda Community Program Manager for Under the Same Tree, bringing over a decade of dedicated volunteer service to the organization. Based in Kampala, Uganda, Harriet has been instrumental in implementing and supporting programs that empower families to achieve sustainable livelihoods. Her deep connection to the community and unwavering commitment to addressing the root causes of poverty have made her an invaluable leader in fostering change.
