OUR MISSION

Preventing The Effects Of Poverty Through Economic Empowerment

We come alongside people who are innovative, resourceful, and hard-working who are trapped in a web of poverty. Poverty-related vulnerabilities are interconnected, and the web is nearly impossible to escape. By addressing the source of the web, we prevent families from experiencing the traumatic effects of poverty, and they are able to move from a web of poverty into a holistic cycle of empowerment.

Empowerment Through Microfinance
We begin by offering families in need small microloans to help them start or expand their businesses. These loans provide the financial boost necessary for families to generate a stable income and work toward long-term financial independence, lifting them out of poverty.
Comprehensive Support For Families
As parents work toward financial stability, our child sponsorship program ensures their children receive access to education and nutritional support. Through empowerment groups, parents receive holistic support, addressing their mental, physical, and emotional needs. This family-centered approach strengthens the entire household and ensures lasting change.
Reinvestment For Ongoing Impact
Once a family repays their loan, the funds are reinvested in new participants, creating a cycle of impact that continues to grow. Child sponsorships remain in place, providing consistent support for children while empowering the community to thrive for generations to come.

WHERE WE WORK

Our Impact Area

While all of our programs follow the same model and produce similar outcomes, we are focused on distinct vulnerable populations in each of our geographic hubs.

Nairobi, Kenya

In the bustling city of Nairobi, Kenya, we work with families facing the unique challenges of urban poverty. Rapid urbanization has left many in informal settlements without stable employment, access to resources, or adequate living conditions. Through our microfinance programs, youth apprenticeships, and community initiatives, we provide the tools for families to rise above these circumstances. By fostering entrepreneurship and economic stability, we help families build sustainable livelihoods in a fast-paced urban environment.

Kiboga, Uganda

In the rural village of Kiboga, Uganda, where access to resources is limited and opportunities for income are scarce, we work alongside families to build sustainable futures. Our focus in Kiboga is on empowering rural populations through microloans, skills training, and community support programs. Here, we aim to bridge the gap between isolation and opportunity, helping families in remote areas achieve economic independence and providing a strong foundation for future generations.
